Highland Vicinity Canopy
A SHADE STRUCTURE IN A COMMUNITY PARK MADE FROM THE ROOF FABRIC OF THE RCA DOME.
The canopy design was developed to complement Synthesis' landscape site plan.
Structure being fabricated and painted at Indianapolis Fabrications.
The IFAB team begins installation, securing the structure to the foundation.

In 2011, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful approached PUP to design a shade structure for the Highland Vicinity neighborhood. KIB assembled a great team of funders, doers, and designers, including Boise Cascade, Synthesis, and Smock Fansler, to revision the under-utilized corner lot. Using the RCA Dome Fabric, PUP conceived a simple shade structure that is both durable and beautiful. Through funds generated from the sale of Dome Products, PUP was able to make the canopy roof panels at no cost. The project took about a year to complete, and it continues to serve as a great addition to the Highland Vicinity Community.
